Cereal Products and Breakfast

Cereal products are important sources of energy, carbohydrates, and protein. Whole grain cereal products, especially rye bread and whole grain porridges, are excellent sources of fiber and contain plenty of B vitamins and minerals. You should get 90 grams of whole grains per day by dry weight.

Include low-salt whole grain bread in your diet, particularly rye bread, or other cereal products such as porridge or muesli.
