Brain Health:
Eggs contain vitamins B12 and B6, choline, and folate. These are all nutrients that regulate a person’s mood and memory.

Heart Health:
- Since high cholesterol levels can lead to heart disease, many people avoid foods containing cholesterol, such as eggs. However, studies have shown that most of the cholesterol in our bodies is produced by the liver and does not come from the cholesterol we eat.
It has also been shown that moderate consumption of eggs does not increase the risk of heart disease. In fact, eggs may even protect against heart disease.

Eye Health:
- Egg yolks contain two major carotenoids, lutein and zeaxanthin, which are important for eye health.
These nutrients play a significant role in eye development and vision.

Stronger bones.
- One of the most important functions of vitamin D is to help us maintain healthy bones. It improves the absorption of calcium in the intestines. It also helps keep our calcium and phosphorus levels at levels that promote healthy bone growth and remodeling.
One egg provides 6% of our daily vitamin D needs.

Supports skin health:
- Selenium is an important part of skin health, so when you eat eggs often, your skin will love it.

Stronger nails and hair:
- Eggs contain biotin, a B-complex vitamin that may play a role in the development of keratin. Hair and nails are made up of keratin.
Hair benefits from the protein, iron, zinc, and vitamin B12 found in eggs.

May reduce inflammation levels:
- Foods rich in antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids are particularly helpful in reducing inflammation. Although eggs are not generally considered to be rich in antioxidants, they do contain “antioxidant properties.”
When eggs are cooked, they lose about half of these properties. However, many of the benefits are still there.

Feel fuller and more energetic:
- The yolk in particular contains important nutrients like vitamin B12, vitamin D, and choline, all of which help our bodies convert food into energy.
The combination of protein and healthy fat also gives eggs their strength, so you’ll feel fuller for longer.

Better mood:
- The brain is made up of 60 percent fat, and studies have shown that consuming omega-3 fatty acids, such as those found in eggs, is linked to improved mental health.
If you eat eggs regularly, you may notice an uplift in your mood. This is because there is a direct link between the nutrients in eggs and improved mental health.

Reduces stress and anxiety:
- Lysine is an essential amino acid found in eggs that has many health benefits. According to one study, it appears to reduce long-term anxiety and acute stress.
- Zinc, which is also found in eggs, has also been linked to reduced anxiety, according to Harvard Health Publishing.

Side effects of eating too many eggs:
- Although eggs are packed with protein, vitamins, and nutrients, they should still be consumed in moderation.
